Complete book design for the London-based fine artist Merlin Carpenter’s 2015 exhibition MIDCAREER PAINTINGS, which showcased 22 transit blankets, stretched like canvas around stretcher frames. The book is divided into four distinct sections: a collage of black & white photos and a catalogue of the ‘paintings’ book-ended by an essay each from Kunsthalle Bern director Valérie Knoll and fine artist Sam Lewitt. We created a custom typeface for this project which appears as headlines and is copper foiled onto the brown kraftboard cover.
