This typographic odyssey tackles themes of extremes of scale, of significance versus insignificance, and is inspired by Ira Byock’s ‘Four Things That Matter Most’. Our shared experiences of life are bound together with fleeting outpourings of human emotion but, as our film’s repeated scenes suggest, the universe is probably quite indifferent to us. It will carry on, with or without us.

This short film was created for the exhibition Beauty – Cooper Hewitt Design Triennial which runs until 21 August 2016 at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City.
